Arkon GoPro Hero Windscreen Mount
Windshield & Dashboard Mount for GoPro® HERO®
The recent integration of the GoPro HERO4 on Periscope has opened up a number of new live streaming possibilities, and Arkon’s GP179 Sticky Suction Windshield or Dash Mount is a must-have accessory for mounting your GoPro action camera to your car’s windshield or dashboard for live broadcasting.
This car mount is compatible with all models of the GoPro HERO action camera, including the GoPro HERO6, HERO5, HERO Session, HERO4, HERO3+, HERO3, HERO2, and HERO. This mount package includes Arkon’s sticky suction mounting pedestal with 3” articulating arm and GoPro-compatible adapter head, and an optional 3M adhesive dashboard mounting disk.
The mount is ideal for car windshields, dashboards, or any other flat or slightly textured surfaces, including desks or table tops. Use this mount for live streaming, or for capturing the beauty of scenic drives or the action on race tracks. The arm of this suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, providing flexibility in positioning the GoPro camera at any angle.
The sticky suction base uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide a maximum surface bond. In order to prevent permanent indentation marks on soft vinyl, leather, or similar dashboard surfaces, Arkon recommends using the included 3M adhesive dash mounting disk. While incredibly strong and durable, the sticky suction mount is also easily removable and reusable. If it has a drop in performance, just rinse the suction pad with a mild liquid soap and warm water, then air dry to restore the suction. Now that you can use a GoPro HERO4 with Periscope, the locations and scenarios you can broadcast from are endless.
